Kennedy – He Knows Karate…

Share

If you haven’t heard of Kennedy and his funky dance vibe, you’re sleeping son!  Last weekend, my buddy Daniel Dickey and I spent some time with Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Kennedy on the set of his music video shoot for Karate.  He doesn’t actually know karate nor did he drive like a gangster when he came to see me, but he definitely knows good music and the way to Kelly Osbourne’s heart (ew).  If you have no idea what I’m talking about, worry not, you soon will!  Check out the track Karate below, and if you like it make sure to buy his albums by clicking –> Here.  **Also, make sure to Like his facebook page.

Check out these behind the scenes photo’s of the Kennedy – Karate music video.  The video was shot at Atomic Studios in LA and directed by Joel Lava.  Make sure you clicked play on the song above while viewing these…they make more sense that way.

Merchants of Green Coffee

Share

My brother and I were strolling around downtown Toronto this afternoon when we came across this really cool coffee place called Merchants of Green Coffee.  The place was tucked away in the quieter part of the city off of Queen east.  Seriously, it was probably the best coffee I have ever had.  Their philosophy; Fresh Coffee, Fair Trade, Green Business. Anyway, as we were enjoying our cups of jo, we were greeted by a squirrel.   Yes, a squirrel.  Cati, one of the employees of the place, had rescued an injured squirrel about a week ago.  The little guy was hanging around the shop and crawled all over us lol.  We snapped some photos and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Fools Gold Rap Party

Share

So yesterday was a quite a day.  All the cool kids with their Ray Bans and fisheye lenses were over at The Standard in South Beach for the Fools Gold Rap Party… And what a party it was!  The event was free, with a $2 donation for Japan.  The line-up was beyond fresh.  However, I only made it in time to catch DJ’s Craze and A-Trak tear up the decks.  Of all the WMC aftermath events that are going on this weekend, I have to admit this one is my favorite.  Anyway check out the pics!

I love lighting.  There are so many ways to mess with lighting to make things look amazing.  And that’s what I focused on during this shoot.  Here are some highlights of a photo shoot with model Marla Comora.  Of course I have to thank my buddy Dazs for his advice and knowledge.  If you haven’t checked out his stuff, make sure you do that by clicking here

Equipment used during shoot:

5D Mark II, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.2L, Alien Bees AB400 (2) Alien Bees AB800 (2)
