Last week, I went to Toronto and photographed Band Bajha Brass. They are the first North American Bollywood/Bhangra brass band consisting of 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 1 sax, 1 tuba, and 2 dhols. Brass bands accompanying the Barat seems to be the latest trend in South Asian weddings, and Band Bajha Brass is leading the movement. Check them out at www.bandbajhabrass.com
